Salmon is a fabulous oily fish to include in your diet as it is hormone balancing, brain and heart healthy so a great addition for any woman.  Full of vitamins, minerals and omega 3, we need to eat at least 2 portions of oily fish each week to help stay healthy.  This is a great recipe that the whole family will enjoy.

1 salmon steaks (I like organic or wild salmon) per person

2 handfuls of kale per person

handful of pumpkin and pumpkin seeds (optional)

1 cup of quinoa per person

1 teaspoons of honey

1 teaspoon of teriyaki sauce

Pop the salmon onto a baking tray and cook in the oven as directed on the packet

Whilst the salmon is cooking, pop the quinoa in a pan of hot water and cook until soft and then drain.

Heat the honey gentle in a pan on a cooker hob and add the teriyaki sauce.  Wait until it begins to go running and take off the hob.  Drizzle the sauce over the salmon and pop back into the oven to finish cooking.

Pop the kale into a pan of hot water and continue to cook until slightly soft, then drain

Pop the drained quinoa and kale onto a plate, add the salmon and drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle over the sunflower and pumpkin seeds
